The French Marine Nationale NDC Strap

What a provenance behind the NDC strap*. Years ago when watches were issued to French military forces, they were "head only" meaning no strap was included. French soldiers experimented with different ways to secure the time pieces to their wrists and it was the Marine Nationale (French Navy) that used fabric cut from surplus parachute cord to do it best. These 21mm straps are cut from that very same cord and make for a comfortable fit on our HFT20 pilot's watch as well as all our other popular HF and HM Series watches.
